Why is life do indifferent to what we want vs. what we get? We wish to be older when we're young and wish to be younger when we're old. Whatever happened to that in-between phase and where do we find it? I think life would be a lot simpler that way.

I just don't like my age ! There is no in between because people aren't going around saying "Oh man, I wish I was 25, but then again if I was just about 16 and a half, I can be pretty good, too."
Doesn't work that way. People want what they don't have. There are barely any in betweens...
